Utilizing the Map Module for Geotargeting
Draw custom geographic boundaries to visually segment and target your audience.
Overview
The Map module allows you to draw and save precise geographic zones, such as radius circles around a specific address or custom polygons around neighborhoods. Once saved, these "Map Layers" can be applied when building Recipient Lists to automatically filter and include only the contacts located within your defined boundaries.

Step-by-Step Guide
-
Access the Map Dashboard: Select Map
from the left-hand navigation menu. You will see an interactive map
interface, a location search bar on the top left, drawing tools on
the top right, and your saved layers listed on the far right.
-
Draw Your Boundary: Use the "Enter a place" search
bar to locate your target area. Then, select a drawing tool from
the top right menu (Circle, Rectangle, or Polygon) and click-and-drag
on the map to outline the specific geographic region you want to
target.
-
Save the Map Layer: Once your shape is drawn, click
the SAVE DRAWING button. In the pop-up window, provide
a descriptive Name for your layer, select a visual
Color to easily identify it on the map, and click
SAVE LAYER.
-
Apply Layer to a Recipient List: Navigate to
Lists New List. During the list
creation process, you will encounter the "Select Region from Map"
step. Check the box next to your newly saved map layer in the right-hand
panel to filter your global contacts down to only those residing
inside that boundary.
-
Finalize Your Target Audience: Proceed to save your
list. The system will process the geographical data and calculate
how many eligible customers fall inside your drawn boundary across
all channels (SMS, Email, Voice). Your list is now ready for deployment.
