Follow these steps to send a test message using the Telq platform.
Login to Telq
Go to the Telq Dashboard.
Access Manual Testing
From the left menu, click on Manual Testing.
Perform a Number Lookup
Use the Aerialink Ops tool (http://tools.int.aerialink.net/) to perform a number lookup on the Long Code.
This helps you retrieve the Network Carrier information, which is crucial to determining where you want to send the message.
Note: If the same mobile network operator isn’t available in Telq for international testing, it’s totally fine to send messages to any network in that country to check if they get delivered.
Select Country and Network Code
Choose the appropriate Country and Network Code.
Click Run, as shown below:
Confirm Your Selection
Copy the Test ID provided after the confirmation.
Log into the Aerialink v5 Portal (https://mb-portal.aerialink.net/activity) and access the customer account through switch account option in upper left corner of the page.
Navigate to Tools > Send Message
Enter the From number provided by the customer and To number copied from Phone/SMSC column in Telq
10. Ensure that the Request Delivery Receipt option is selected.
11. Paste the Test ID
Copy the Test ID text from Telq (highlighted in step 6).
Paste it into the message field.

12. Click Send Message.
13. Check the DLR Status
Go to the Activity Report and check the DLR (Delivery Receipt) status.
14. Verify in Telq
Go back to Telq and check the Receipt Status column.
A green check indicates that the message has been successfully delivered.
