When Aerialink customers report delivery issues, the DLR error code response for the message may indicate a potential spam block. Review the message content for spam-like qualities to determine whether the ticket should be reassigned to Compliance for review before reaching out to the vendor for investigation.
Check whether the messages demonstrate these traits below. If yes, reassign the ticket to Compliance.
- Do messages include prohibited content?
- Are there obvious grammatical errors or unnatural language? (eg. “H3ll0” instead of “Hello”)
- Does the verbiage have a cold-call appearance? (eg. “Trying to reach out again. Are you still interested?”)
- Do messages urge end users to take immediate action to avoid a possible consequence?
- Is the brand name missing from the message content?
- Are opt-out instructions for STOP not provided?
- Was this a large volume of multi-segmented messages?
- Is there a link in the message? Is it split across segments?
If unsure, reach out to Compliance for additional insight.
