Requirements: Connect to Tailscale with any of the IVR exit nodes
Follow these steps to build and test a Chase MFA call. Screenshots are provided for each step.
Step 1: Go to Build a Chase MFA call
Navigate to the "Build a Chase MFA call".
Step 2: Enter the Phone number you intend to test on
Input the phone number you want to use for testing.
Step 3: From the dropdown, select 10 - Confirm phone number
Select "10 - Confirm phone number" from the dropdown (this may vary based on the template used for testing).
Step 4: From the dropdown, select 1 - Action Type 1 (For English) & 2 - Action Type 2 (For Spanish)
Select the appropriate action type: "1 - Action Type 1" for English, "2 - Action Type 2" for Spanish, or others if more languages are involved for the specific template.
Step 5: From the dropdown, if testing is for PROD, select any of the two available prod host
For PROD testing, select any of the two available PROD hosts. For QA testing, select any of the two available QA hosts.
Step 6: Activation Code
Enter the 8-digit OTP code which will be heard by the end user on the call.
Step 7: Hit SEND
Notes: You may receive multiple calls while testing and this system is intended to dial 3 times for each trigger and it will stop when the user pressed # and listens to the OTP.
Template used for testing in this scenario:
Hello, this is Chase Online with the 8-digit one-time code you'll need to confirm your phone number. Please press # to continue. If this call has reached your voicemail we will attempt to call you back. To receive your code, please answer the call and press the pound key when prompted. Para espanol oprima el dos."
• If # Pressed to Continue: "Your one-time code is ________. You may enter it online when prompted. If you did not request this code or would like to report a wrong number, please call us at 1-866-355-3744. If calling from outside the U.S., international distance rates may apply. We will never contact you to ask for this code. Thanks for choosing Chase. Press # to repeat this message."
• If Pressed # to Repeat: Repeat Message from "Your one-time code is...”
• If Pressed 2 for Spanish: Message deployed in Spanish
• If no key pressed: Repeat greeting one more time. If there is no key press, the call will disconnect after one repeat. If invalid key pressed (Attempt 1 & 2): "That is an invalid response. Please try again."
• After three (3) invalid key press attempts: "That is an invalid response. You will need to request a new code. Thank you. Goodbye." (Disconnect Call)
